MEET YOUR ACCOUNTANT

We've been where you're about to go

Starting a business means a lot of decisions at once, and the early ones shape everything that follows. I’ve been a business owner myself, so I know the challenges you’ll face and the importance of getting the set-up right from day one.

I’m a Chartered Accountant and registered tax agent with 6+ years advising businesses from SMEs to large corporations. I help owners structure for today and for long-term growth, and I make sure you understand the reasons behind every decision. I explain things in plain language, stay in touch through the year – not just at tax time – and set you up for where your business is going.

The Entrepreneur Starter Pack is the advice I didn't get.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Anyone starting a business in any industry, or a sole trader whose business is growing and now needs a company or trust. If the pack isn't the right fit for you yet, we'll tell you on the first call.

It is if you're growing and a company or trust now makes sense. We'll talk it through on our first call – if the pack isn't right for you yet, we'll tell you. Setting up the new entities is in the pack. Moving your existing business into them is separate work, and we'll quote for it first.

One fixed fee, paid up front. We give you the figure on the first call, once we know what you're setting up. It includes ASIC's registration fees and the cost of your company and trust documents for up to three entities. Apart from GST, the only extra is your own Xero subscription.

Legal advice, your Xero subscription, payroll processing, BAS and other periodic returns, and work after the three months.

They're a legal requirement for setting up companies and trusts. We check everyone named in the structure before any work starts – for every Starter Pack, even if your structure turns out not to need a company or trust.

The engagement ends and nothing rolls over. We hand over your records and remove our access. If you'd like to keep working with us, you sign our standard engagement letter.

Book a chat and we will call you to talk about what you're starting. If it suits, we book a 30–45 minute run-through of the pack by video. No obligation at either step.

It depends on your plans, who’s involved, the risks in your industry and how you want to be taxed. Sole trader, partnership, company and trust structures each suit different situations, and there’s no one answer that’s right for everyone. We look at yours on the first call, and structure advice is part of the pack.
